Weekly Horoscope: September 29-October 5, 2025

We finally get to enjoy the grace of Libra season--this after weeks of intense situations, culminations and fresh starts.

That's because we're still awash in the wake of an exceptionally intense (to say the least) eclipse season. Its effects will continue to unfold in the weeks ahead, but we’ll have more time to assess and weigh our options from now on.

The week begins with the quarter Moon in Capricorn, a rather dour if conscientious, hardworking and structured sign. It can create dissonance as it fuels our desire to set a firm agenda then get to work on it and be productive. This is at odds with the Sun in Libra impulse to strive for balance, and seek beauty and life’s pleasures. With some effort, we can have the best of both worlds and get a lot done. On Monday, early on the Moon aspects Mercury and Mars, adding energy and a desire to communicate. A similar pattern holds for Tuesday.

Positive lunar aspects prevail on Wednesday, October 1. However, mental Mercury also squares expansive Jupiter inflating our words and ideals. Big ideas abound, but our desire for perfection may clash with emotional needs. It’s important to not get too entangled in the vision that we overpromise. If you need make a big decision or sign any important documents, it might be best to wait until the end of the week.

The newsfeeds likely will be off the chain with exaggerated reports. Everyone will want a say, and many will clamour for fairness or justice. Those who tend to be bombastic, self-righteous or moralistic may be more so.

By Thursday, the Moon will have shifted to Aquarius, a sign much more compatible with the Sun’s current placement. It’s easier to find a compromise between will and emotion, and to simply enjoy life. But Venus in chaste Virgo forms a frictional sesquiquadrate with Pluto in Aquarius. Which means trust issues could arise, seemingly from left field. Jealousy or possessiveness might also rear their heads, and though we won’t want to take a deep look at what’s feeding them that would be the best response now.

The Moon is in mystical, creative Pisces for a weekend stay. Venus plays a big role during Libra season, being the sign’s ruler. Having to do with love, relationships and money, the planet recently moved to the highly discerning and analytical sign of Virgo. Now, it conjoins the karmic south node, urging us to examine outdated relationship patterns and the cause-and-effect they generated in our lives. People or situations from the past could literally resurface to trigger the process.

With Venus’ hookup this week, our closest connections could feel especially charged. We may not be able to avoid difficult conversations, and some may realize they need to do a relationship declutter, leaving only those people who are for the higher good.

All in all, this week the Sun and Mercury in Libra front-burner love and beauty, with perhaps some important encounters and negotiations, with a dollop of diplomacy. But with Mars now in truth-seeking Scorpio, we may have to remind ourselves to be gentle with others if we want to realize our heart’s desires.
