Everybody needs somebody sometime, a sentiment that rings very true this week, the leadup to Sunday’s Full Moon.
On Monday, October 7, it may be hard to keep our balance as implacable Saturn in Capricorn clashes with the “can’t we all just get along” Sun in Libra.
In Canada, many of us will tune into the leadership debates that night. Libra's great gift is objectivity, helping us see both sides of any argument. But there seems to be a wide divide between what is fair and just in our leaders, and not just on the world stage. At work, those in charge may exact harsh penalties if we try to force issues around fairness or equality.
The sign of the Scales’ preferred position is on the fence, but now we may have to make some tough decisions about whether to go along for the sake of the team. Both signs do know the value of deferred decisions in the name of getting it right, which may be the best strategy now.
On Tuesday, love goddess Venus decides she’s had enough of playing nice as she slinks into sultry Scorpio. Going forward, expect a lot going on behind the privacy policy that sign insists on. Under Libra, both our love and financial lives were up for discussion. Now, it’s time to get down to serious stuff, like shared bodily fluids or bank accounts.

Both signs know how much we need other people and the value of alliances. And to be strategic in how our actions affect others. Venus in Scorpio pours on the passion and intensity, Mars in Libra seeks to play fair and be objective.
On Saturday, October 12, Venus faces off with Uranus for the one and only time this year. Expect the unexpected in relationships! On the social and romantic fronts, the excitement quotient will be off the charts, but so is the unpredictability, so be prepared to wing it.
The Full Moon is exact at 5:08 pm ET on Sunday in the bold and courageous sign of Aries. As with every lunation of this type, it brings to fruition issues we’ve been tussling with for the past two weeks. In Aries, we want to make a fresh start. But as it also squares Pluto and Capricorn, we may have to make a big decision that affects our future.
We may feel pulled in two very divergent directions. On the one hand, we may be hampered or locked in by circumstances beyond our control. This Full Moon can shine a light on the way out. But rather than taking precipitous jump-off-the-pier-and-hope-to-swim actions, it’s best to use our new awareness to set up an action plan to deal with the big changes coming in 2020.
