“Tis the season—Sagittarius season, that is, a sign that loves to make merry and is prone to excess. It also ushers in a bold, adventurous energy, encouraging optimism and forward movement after a period of reflective intensity of Scorpio. This week, Saturn turns direct in Pisces on Thursday, marking the end of a significant cycle, and Mercury later stations direct. There’s a sense of renewed clarity and momentum now. And an invitation to trust our intuition, embrace change, and make intentional progress, blending fiery enthusiasm with the wisdom gained from recent challenges.

And Venus is the most active planet this week, merrily gladhanding with almost every other planet. This spotlights all things the Love Goddess favours: not only partnerships, but alliances of all kinds plus financial matters, core values and the arts.

BLACK FRIDAY ALERT: Venus is still retrograde this week, calling for caution when it comes to spending. Definitely don’t buy anything that is not easily returned!  And do read the fine print more than once.

On Monday, old contracts are revisited and renegotiated as Venus conjoins retrograde Mercury in passionate Scorpio (Monday). Agreements may have to be revisited or even renegotiated, a solid contracts will take time to be finalized.  until late January, when Mercury is moving forward and conjoins Venus again, when both planets are in progressive Aquarius.

The fireworks are scheduled for the weekend, as the planet opposes erratic Uranus on Saturday, and the next day enters freewheeling Sagittarius. Expect the unexpected in all things that Venus rules (see above).

On Monday, Mars squares the nodal axis, bringing a strong urge to assert our own perspectives. We could over do it, though, intent on proving ourselves in the right while highlighting where others have gone wrong. This aspect serves as a reminder that self-righteousness is counterproductive when it comes to evolutionary growth. By recognizing this tendency, we have an opportunity to reflect and strive for greater understanding and humility.

At the same time, retrograde Mercury aligns with Venus in Scorpio, intensifying communications with partners or loved ones. Conversations during this period are likely to be direct and sincere, with a demand for honesty in responses. Superficial answers will not suffice; the energies encourage us to address questions with candour and depth, fostering authentic and meaningful connections.

On Tuesday, Venus is quincunx Chiron, stirring up old wounds and triggering feelings of alienation. But the very next day, she, being in passionate Scorpio, forms a harmonious, soulful grand trine with Jupiter in tender Cancer and Saturn in mystical Pisces. This alignment is known for encouraging the flow of creative energies and enhancing emotional depth, with a side helping of compassion. The unique synergy between Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn allows feelings to move more freely, nurturing empathy and creative collaboration. Some will embrace the opportunity for growth and connection, but others will resist due to feelings of vulnerability and oversharing.

Saturn stations direct at 10:52 pm EST this Thursday, November 27, at 25 degrees Pisces. This is big, as it has been retrograde since July 12, and early 2026 will leave the sign, returning only in 29 years. Expect the impulse towards completion and endings to build momentum through the end of the year. We will gradually find that the confusion and uncertainty about the structures in our lives is lessening. At the same time, it’s important to remain mindful so that we can enter the upcoming dynamic Saturn-in-Aries era and build anew with a foundation of inner knowingness, even wisdom.

For many, Saturn in Pisces has taught us sometimes difficult lessons about emotional boundaries. Some of us also learned how to apply disciplne to intuition for greater effect, and what kinds of structures were need to fulfill our dreams. At this time when it is at a standstill could be considered a checkpoint on these issues.

On Saturday, Mercury draws to a halt in preparation for direction motion, exact at 12:38 pm EST. Still in Scorpio, there may be much to process from all the thinking and contemplating of the past three weeks. As it moves forward, we can gain mental momentum. Much may have been revealed that must be processed as well. For the next week or so, it’s still best to be extra cautious about signing new agreements or contracts and such.

The same day, Venus opposes Uranus, which usually spells trouble in relationships. This aspect stirs up instability, and sometimes even breakdowns or separations can occur, and suddenly at that. Such tensions are especially likely if honesty has been lacking between partners, or if one individual feels a strong need for independence. This time around, though, the harmonious aspect between Venus and Neptune throws compassion, empathy, and forgiveness into the mix. There is a natural inclination to see the positive qualities in others, and to foster understanding and kindness.

The combined influence requires a balancing act between the need for excitement and freedom from the Uranus opposition and the desire for romanticism and connection from the Neptune trine. The dreamy influence of Neptune can make the chaotic feelings of the Uranus opposition feel less threatening, but it also risks creating an illusion that masks underlying issues in a relationship or situation. This aspect can be a powerful catalyst for creative projects, especially those that blend the unconventional with the spiritual or imaginative.

On Sunday, Venus enters Sagittarius, where it will stay until December 25. During this transit, many of us seek spontaneity and light-hearted connections, favouring relationships that encourage exploration and adventure. We prefer to mingle with individuals who share our beliefs and who take a wide-angle view of life. Generosity moves to the front burner, but it’s important to note that this openness can also lead to burning through a lot of cash while shutting out the voice of reason or responsibility.
