Weekly Horoscope: May 10-16, 2021

Everything is coming up daffodils in a week that sees a blooming beautiful and fruitful New Moon and Jupiter beaming new bounty.

Not that it will seem so on Monday, as the Moon in Taurus collides with Uranus and Saturn, making it seem like the old patterns of frustration and feeling stuck will never end.

Hang in there, because it is all set to shift on Tuesday, May 11, with the New Moon in Taurus at 2:59 pm EDT. This sign is both creative and practical. It’s time to get back to basics; apply the KISS (keep it simple, silly) principle to darned near everything in your life. Chances are by making things overly complex, you weren’t able to see the forest for the trees. Pinpoint what’s essential, and focus on that, create new routines and habits that will make it happen.

Taurus associated with gardening as well. And what you plant now will come to full fruition with the November 19 lunar eclipse. The more positive moves you make now, the more you will reap all good things.

It is Venus ruled, so relationships, creativity and finances will likely be the focus. And Taurus has the drive and resilience to make it happen no matter how long it takes. At the same time, a helpful sextile to Neptune means we won’t sacrifice principles or integrity, and will pursue with passion the good, the true and the beautiful. The journey as important as the outcome.

The Moon shifts to communicative Gemini Wednesday morning. For the next tree days, we’re able to verbalize our needs. and it’s primetime for buttonholing the right people to help us achieve our goals. Or for pleasant chats over the back fence.

At 6:36 pm EDT on Thursday, May 13, Jupiter plunges into Pisces until July 28 (it will make a return appearance from December 28, 2021 to May 10, 2022 and again from October 28 to December 20, 2022.).

The planet has been barreling through intellectual and innovative Aquarius since January and this shift will also help us “let it be,” go with the cosmic flow. In traditional astrology, Jupiter is said to be exalted in Pisces. Which means the Jupiter principles like expansion and justice will be expressed with heart and higher purpose.

Added to its significance: Neptune is also in the sign, something that hasn’t happened since the mid-1800s. As well, these two play nicely with Uranus and Pluto, both in earth signs.

Heady stuff! By the weekend, we’re ready to hunker in the bunker. A Moon in Cancer brings us back to the bosom of our families and home base. Aspects are mostly helpful, helping us to process the recent shifts and prepare to take full advantage.
