One, two, paradigm shift! Uranus enters nimble-minded Gemini, a change that ultimately will impact our lives profoundly.

The side-spinning planet changes signs every 7 years. It was uncomfortable in stodgy Taurus, a sign resistant to change. And Uranus is all about change and shaking up the status quo to allow for ultimate evolution. Especially since it will initially encounter good allies: Uranus forms a positively productive sextile to mystical Neptune (2025-26) and a flowing trine to dynamic and implacable Pluto (2025-28).

As Uranus, the planet of liberation, revolutions, and enlightenment, travels through Gemini, we can expect transformative shifts in the realms ruled by the Twins: thought, communication, the exchange of information and goods, travel, and the way we understand consciousness itself. It also signals an era of accelerated innovation and profound mental rewiring; think technological and spiritual quantum leaps. New inventions and insights will reshape how we think, connect, and move through the world.

However, such rapid change can fray our nervous systems, which are Gemini’s domain. To thrive, it’s essential to regularly and mindfully soothe and care for both our minds and bodies. Practices such as conscious breathing, regular meditation, light exercise and connecting with nature, plus prioritizing good sleep are great ways to ensure we maintain balance.

On Monday, in addition to the Uranus shift, Venus forms a harmonious trine to Pluto. This opens gates for profound honesty and transformation in our most cherished connections. We can dive beneath the surface with an eye to transcending superficialities, inviting a richer, soul-level intimacy. Meanwhile, Mars engages with Chiron through a sesquiquadrate aspect, bringing to light the inner critic that dwells within us all. Old insecurities or wounds may require attention, especially when we or those around us become overly exacting.

On Tuesday, the Moon is in upbeat Sagittarius. It forms no major liaisons as it progresses, giving us a chance to assimilate the new influx of energy. Wednesday, though, sees a shift into conscientious Capricorn. Early on, we’re unclear as to where to put our energies, with too many demands and unclear instructions. The fog quickly clears, though.

Thursday, July 10, marks the Full Moon in Capricorn, exact at 4:37 pm EDT.  It opposes the domestic, home-loving Cancer Sun, adding themes of heritage, ancestors and the past. This lunation in a practical, goal-oriented sign brings the opportunity to witness tangible fruits of our recent efforts, as the Moon’s harmonious trine to Mars in Virgo infuses our actions with purpose and helps us channel our energy effectively.

Saturn, as the planetary ruler of this Full Moon, forges a powerful sextile with Uranus, setting the stage for making enduring, constructive changes. It also sextiles Pluto, a configuration that supports deep personal transformation and empowers us to redefine our vision in the world. Adding to this cosmic tapestry, Saturn’s conjunction with Neptune calls for a blending of reality and imagination—a delicate dance between grounded practicality and inspired dreaming. Jupiter is not onside, though, so we may have to work harder to remain hopeful and act from wisdom.

On Friday, the Moon moves into Aquarius, making us more socially minded. Is applies to wider causes that benefit society, this sign’s concern, and just plain getting out and mingling, preferably in a crowd. Luna glad-hands with all the planets involved in the Full Moon’s positive alliances, helping us to make the most of them. The good vibes carry into Saturday, but quickly run out of steam as we feel the drain of the next day’s planetary move.

On Sunday (late Saturday PDT), Saturn comes to a standstill before turning retrograde. It has generated an undertow of seriousness to the entire week. Saturn energies inevitably bring a challenge to not let a need for practicality verge into pessimism or inertia. During the retrograde that lasts until November 27, we may it puts a damper on our vim and sense of initiative, or that projects started when it was in forward motion meet with obstacles or delays. Best attitude: Use any setbacks as an indication of areas for improvement. It’s a good time to learn the value of patience and impulse control. And to take extra time to enjoy summer.
